What is Summerstock...
We know you are probably wondering, what is Summerstock all about. First and foremost, this project was made possible, in part, with funding from ASC, and the N.C. Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.
Summerstock is the brainchild of Health Empowerment Renewal, known as “H.E.R.”, a Non-Profit 501 (c) 3 Organization. Our organization’s mission is to address, educate, and coordinate health promotion; not only to encompass actions directed at strengthening the basic life skills and capacities of individuals, but to also influence underlying socioeconomic conditions and physical environments that impact one’s health.
On June 26th, 2022 at 11:00 am, we plan to culminate Charlotte’s live art, food and beverage, and multicultural creative scenes into an outdoor extravaganza at 2229 Weyland Ave. Artists from Charlotte and surrounding counties will gather with locals to safely take to the outdoors and celebrate the life of Charlotte through the arts. Electrifying performances, mural paintings, and food trucks are apart of the many activities for the festival
